Reduce your logbook hours from 120 to 80!

In his media release 12 March 2013, Less is more with a new course for young drivers, Duncan Gay, Minister for Roads and Ports, outlines plans to intoduce a Safe Drivers’ Course.

From July 2013 learner drivers who undertake the Safe Drivers’ Course will be credited with 20 log book hours.

To reduce logbook hours from 120 to 80 a learner driver will have to not only complete the Safe Drivers’ Course but also undertake 10 hours instruction from a professional driving instructor.

That means for learners under 25 the exisitng 3 logbook hours for each 1 hour with a professional instructor (up to maximum of 10 hours professional instruction) is still in place. Do 10 hours with a driving instructor and you only have 90 additional hours to complete your log book hours!

Call 0400 790 944 and book a lesson with Redleaf Driver Training today and start trippling the reduction in logbook hours!

This is general information. Each indivdual learner must confirm with the Road and Maritime Services department (formerly RTA) as to how this applies to them.
